About Me

My name is Ashley Dray.  In 2012 I graduated from SUNY Cortland. with my M.S.Ed in Adapted Physical Education.  I received my Bachelors of Science in Education from East Stroudsburg University with a major in Health and Physical Education.  I am currently coaching gymnastics at Head Over Heels where I work with girls and boys ages 18 months to 18 years.  I am one of the location managers, a team coach for our competitive team and I also work with our recreation classes. Along with coaching, I am also in charge of creating lesson plans for our Pre School program.  Along with coaching gymnastics, I also substitute teach at the Union Endicott School District.

I am very interested in physical education, health, and adapted physical education and meeting the needs of every student in the classroom.  Also, I am interested in technology and what it can do for PE and Health teachers as well as students.  I am learning everyday all the different types of technology that is available and I think it is a great teaching tool that is rarely accessed.

I love working with children and find it very rewarding to know you make the slightest difference in one child's life and how much they appreciate you, even though they may not express their appreciation.  I am looking forward to the day when I am able to share with my students everything I have learned and experienced with physical activity and wellness.
